The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) connect the jaw to the skull and allow us to perform different daily acts, such as chewing and expressing ourselves. People who clench their jaw or grind their teeth (bruxism), or who have bite or alignment problems are at greater risk for TMJ problems. These problems can manifest themselves through pain, arthritis, as well as blocking.
Contact Centre Dentaire Champlain to make an appointment or to get more information about TMJ. Dr. Lynda Tabet and her dental health professionals will be happy to suggest the right treatment for you and your family.
